This initiative aims to replace traditional high-pressure sodium and mercury lamps with energy-efficient LED streetlights, and c has become one of the top contractors in Taiwan for LED streetlight replacements. Through effective project management and progress control, MiTAC successfully completed the installation of LED streetlights in 11 counties and cities, totaling over 336,000 units, significantly contributing to energy conservation and urban environmental improvement.
The "Mercury Lamp Phase-Out Program" aims to eliminate outdated lighting technologies while promoting the use of energy-efficient LED streetlights to reduce energy consumption and enhance urban lighting quality. Since joining the program, we have focused on maintaining efficient and stable project management processes to ensure smooth execution and budget control, achieving outstanding results across various regions.
A total of 336,366 LED streetlights have been installed in areas including Taipei City, Keelung City, Miaoli County, Yilan County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Taoyuan City, Zhudong Township, New Taipei City, Kaohsiung City, and Hualien County. The implementation of LED streetlights has not only improved lighting effects but also effectively reduced energy consumption and carbon emissions, enhancing the quality of life for local residents and significantly improving the lighting environment. Our solutions have reached high standards not only in technology but also in budget control and timeline performance, earning high recognition and praise from local governments and communities.
