MiTAC Successfully Completes New Taipei City South LED Energy-Saving Streetlight Project with Impressive Results

MiTAC Information Technology Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "MiTAC") has recently completed the "New Taipei City South Area Energy-Saving Streetlight Replacement and Maintenance Project." This project was promoted using a performance-based contract model, aiming to enhance the quality of smart city lighting in New Taipei City and advance sustainable development goals for energy conservation and carbon reduction. Taiwan's Drone Overseas Business Alliance Pledge Conference: Hu Kai-hung Aims for a 10-Fold Increase in Drone Output by 2028

Today (23rd), the "Taiwan Excellence Drone Overseas Business Alliance" held its pledge conference. The alliance chairman and Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) Chairman Hu Kai-hung promised to focus on international cooperation, aligning with policy directions to lead alliance members in building a drone supply chain and seizing overseas opportunities. The goal is to achieve a tenfold increase in Taiwan's drone output by 2028 and to become the first democratic drone supply chain center in the Asia-Pacific region. Establishment of the Drone Alliance

On October 10, the Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the formation of the "Taiwan Excellence Drone Overseas Business Alliance," aimed at promoting the international development of the drone industry, enhancing industry autonomy, and improving international competitiveness. The government has set a target to achieve a monthly production capacity of 15,000 drones by 2028. During the meeting, Hu Kai-hong, Chairman of Hanxiang, was unanimously elected as the Alliance Chairman, leading the drone industry towards new horizons.

In recent years, Taiwan has continuously elevated its defense self-sufficiency, with a significant focus on domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). To expedite the development of our country's UAV industry and strengthen its competitiveness, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in collaboration with the Chiayi County Government, jointly organized the unveiling ceremony of the 'Economic Affairs UAV Industry Development Project Office' on December 11, 112. The office is situated within the Asia UAV AI Innovation Application Research and Development Center in Chiayi. Deputy Premier Chen Wen-chann, Presidential Advisor Shen Jong-chin, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Lin Chuan-neng, Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang, Legislators Chen Ming-wen and Wu Yu-chin, along with representatives from various relevant government agencies, participated in the plaque unveiling and delivered speeches. Taiwan, located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, often faces threats from complex disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and heavy rains in Hualien County.
