With the rapid advancements in IoT, AI, and computing technologies, we took the lead in integrating resources to establish the "AI Technology Research and Development Center" in 2019. The R&D center focuses on "forward-looking AI system technology" as its primary direction, taking responsibility for innovative technology and product development. Leveraging over two decades of experience in hardware and software development and manufacturing, we have strategically positioned our core R&D capabilities. This includes proficiency in industrial design/mechanical design, development and design capabilities in electronic control, application software development and design, and managerial expertise in electromechanical integration.

Our research areas encompass AI image recognition, big data analytics, smart factory AIOT, autonomous mobile robots, 5G vertical applications, edge computing, and other technological research and product development initiatives. Beyond deriving innovative products through universal technologies and management systems, we have achieved several new and inventive patents. Since our establishment, we have applied for government grant programs to conduct technical verification and prototype production, accumulating over 25 successful cases to date. The cumulative government grants for research and development have exceeded 150 million NT dollars. Through these efforts, we have successfully developed three major product lines and extended their applications to smart factories, the healthcare industry, and more.

 

  • MiSeeR Series Products
    The MiSeeR series employs an exclusive unsupervised learning algorithm developed in-house, utilizing a deep learning framework and automated feature extraction engineering. It can simulate highly complex functions and supports high-performance parallel computing. The series has been instrumental in developing smart factory solutions with a rich history of successful applications. The solutions include six products: "Occupancy/Capacity Utilization Estimator," "ESG Energy Consumption Monitor," "Consumable Real-time Monitor," "Product Yield Predictor," "Equipment Failure Predictor," and "AOI Defect Rejudicator."

  • MiCart Autonomous Robot Carrier
    Diverging from commercially available AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) that require the pre-establishment of on-site maps and operation by professional technicians, MiCart, the smart handling expert by MiTAC, only requires simple button operations to follow personnel movements. It can be quickly deployed for immediate use, effectively saving setup time and costs. This makes it the most practical, straightforward, and fast smart handling solution. Currently, it has been widely adopted in smart factories, high-tech plants, and hospitals, among other sectors.

  • MiRACK AI Intelligent Cabinet 
    The groundbreaking "MiRACK AI Intelligent Cabinet" serves as the optimal carrier for 5G AIoT Edge Data Centers (EDC). Unlike traditional cabinets, the "MiRACK AI Intelligent Cabinet" can operate independently in harsh environments using its self-contained air conditioning system. It integrates three major intelligent systems, including the MiSeeR Fault Prediction and Anomaly Detection System, Smart Energy-saving Cooling System, and Environmental Control System. It boasts functionalities such as equipment failure prediction, energy-efficient power savings, and information security. Targeting unmanned server rooms or mobile data centers, it was awarded the "Taiwan Excellence Award" in 2022.
