Smart IoT Applications in Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency

亞洲矽谷工業區智慧物聯網應用

As a participant in the "Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency, ASVDA" initiative, MiTAC collaborates with the Taoyuan Industrial Park to implement various smart IoT applications, focusing on energy conservation and road safety. This effort has successfully reduced energy consumption and environmental emissions while enhancing the safety and efficiency of road users, thus improving the quality and efficiency of public services in the park and laying a crucial foundation for future smart city development.

In the Taoyuan Industrial Park, including locations such as Young Lion, Pingzhen, Zhongli, Linkou, and Dayuan, MiTAC has introduced smart lighting control technologies and energy-saving solutions for sewage treatment plants:

■ Smart Lighting Control System

Utilizing IoT technology, the lighting system automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light and environmental conditions, effectively saving energy costs and extending the lifespan of lighting fixtures.

■ Sewage Treatment Plant Energy Efficiency

Through IoT solutions, the monitoring and optimization of sewage treatment facilities enhance processing efficiency and reduce energy consumption while minimizing environmental impact.

For road safety improvements, the solutions include:

■ Traffic Flow Statistics

By deploying smart sensors, real-time monitoring of road traffic conditions enables the development of more effective traffic management strategies, reducing congestion and improving traffic flow.

■ Red Line Parking Violation Alert System

Utilizing visual recognition technology, the system automatically detects and records illegal parking on red lines, issuing timely alerts and supporting subsequent legal enforcement, thereby enhancing the monitoring and processing efficiency of traffic violations.

■ Roadbed Subsidence Warning System

By integrating geographic information systems and sensing technologies, this system monitors changes in roadbed conditions, promptly detecting potential safety hazards such as subsidence, and facilitating preventive measures to ensure road safety.

MiTAC aims to actively participate in smart city development, providing professional technical support while continuously exploring and promoting the application of smart IoT technologies. This initiative seeks to inject new energy and innovative solutions into modern urban management, contributing significantly to the construction of smart cities and enhancing the quality of life.
